Afternoon Schedule1:40-1:45 - Middle School check-in (in library) 1:45-2:45 - Homework/Quiet free time/Computers/Snack from Home 2:45 Walk to West to combine for afternoon 3:00-3:10- West check-In (in Gym) 3:10-4:00-Outside/Homework 4:00-4:25- Snack 4:30-5:10-Craft/Gym/Computer Lab/Free Time 5:10-5:45-Free time in cafe |
Computer lab:
We try to limit each child’s computer time to not more than 40 minutes per day.
Homework:
There is a staff member available to assist with questions during homework. It is offered before and after snack in the afternoon. If you would like your child to take advantage of the time given please remind him/her. We do not regularly check all of the children’s work nor do we check their backpacks to see if they have homework. You will still need to check their work at home.
Gym:
Each morning and afternoon a different organized team game is offered in the gym. Games are posted on our monthly calendar.
Craft:
Some afternoons there will be a craft project offered to the children. (If a lot of kids show interest, crafts will be offered more often)
Cafeteria:
During the afternoon the cafeteria is always an option. In the café the kids can enjoy a nice snack, color, play board games, build with legos, or just hang out with friends.
